Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 8, 2026

Off The Clock is built on trust. Workers share honest experiences only because they know we will protect their identity. This policy explains what we collect, what we do with it, and what we never do.

What we collect

  • Review content: the job title, ratings, pros, cons, advice, and other text you submit.
  • Optional contact info: if you choose to provide a work email or LinkedIn URL for verification, we store it securely.
  • Basic technical data: IP address, browser type, and access timestamps for security and abuse prevention.

What we do not do

  • We never share your identifying information with the company you reviewed.
  • We never sell your personal data to third parties.
  • We never attach your name to an anonymous review publicly.

How we use your data

  • To publish your review (anonymously by default).
  • To verify employment, if you opt in by providing a work email.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse.
  • To improve and operate the platform.

Anonymity

Reviews are published without your name, email, or any optional contact info you provided. Verification badges (if earned) are displayed without revealing the underlying email or profile.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Contact us through the platform to make a request.

Data retention

We retain review content as long as the platform is operational. We retain technical logs only as long as necessary for security and abuse prevention.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep the platform working and basic analytics to understand usage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Changes

We will post any updates to this policy on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
