This is not a paid review program.

Reviews are not paid for, and reviewers are not compensated for content.
Positive reviews are not required to be entered.
Negative, neutral, and positive reviews all qualify equally.
Approval depends only on compliance with our community guidelines— never on sentiment, rating, or whether a company looks good or bad.
Honest, specific reviews — the good and the bad — are exactly what this platform exists for.

Entry requirements

Write a review of a company you actually worked at
Submit a review through the standard review form. You must have first-hand experience as a current or former employee.

Meet the minimum quality bar
Reviews must include specific, real detail in the Pros, Cons, and full review sections. Generic, copy-pasted, or low-effort submissions are not eligible.

Opt in to the giveaway
Check the “I would like to enter the Founding Reviewer Giveaway” box on the review form and provide an email so we can contact you if you win. Your email is stored separately from the review and is never published.

Get approved by a moderator
Your review must be approved during moderation. Only approved reviewers are entered into the drawing. Rejected or removed reviews are not eligible.

Review moderation

Every review is reviewed by a human moderator
We do not auto-publish. Reviews stay in a “pending” state until a moderator decides.

We check for guideline compliance — not sentiment
Reviews are evaluated against our community guidelines: no personal attacks, no identifying information about individuals, no confidential or legally protected info, no harassment, and no spam.

Personal information is removed
Anything that could identify the reviewer or named individuals (other than public-facing company leadership in their professional capacity) is removed or causes the review to be rejected.

Approval criteria are the same for everyone
A 1-star review and a 5-star review go through the exact same checks. A glowing review with no specifics may be rejected; a critical review with concrete detail may be approved.

Selection process

Entries are recorded in the order reviews are approved
The first 100 approved reviewers who opted in are entered. Once 100 entries are reached, the program closes.

One entry per person
Multiple reviews from the same person, household, or email do not create multiple entries. Duplicate submissions are removed.

A single winner is selected at random
After the 100th entry is approved, one winner is drawn at random from all valid entries.

Winner is contacted by email
We email the winner using the address provided at entry. The winner has 14 days to respond and claim the prize.

Giveaway rules

Prize: One (1) gift card valued at $100 USD, delivered electronically.
Eligibility: Open to individuals 18 years or older. Void where prohibited by law.
No purchase necessary. Writing a review is free and always will be.
Not affiliated with any company being reviewed. This program is run solely by Off The Clock and is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by any reviewed employer.
No guarantee of approval. Submitting a review or opting in does not guarantee entry. Reviews that violate our guidelines are not eligible, regardless of opt-in.
Privacy: The email you provide for the giveaway is stored separately from your review and is used only to contact a potential winner. It is never published, sold, or attached to the public review.
Right to disqualify: We reserve the right to disqualify entries from accounts that engage in spam, fraud, coordinated reviews, or any other guideline violations.
Taxes: The winner is responsible for any applicable taxes on the prize.
